Learning to find my creative voice

Yesterday I decided to switch it up a bit and take a stab at landscape photography, something that I am not very strong at and I know I need a lot of practice. The shots where terrible and I didn’t get anything good. I still went out there and tried. It is a reminder that we all have areas in our art that we seek to grow in and the only way to do that is to practice. It may take some time to get out and try again, not because I don’t want to, but because I am drawn to street photography.

I want to try all photography, not because I think that I will be good at them all, but because I am learning and want to practice as much as I can. The only way to find my direction and what photography that I love to do is to practice it all. This goes for any art or creative path, we must walk the creative path and find what calls to us.

My photography, just like my writing, is a journey that I will continue to grow in. I hope you follow me along on this journey and learn things along the way that help you grow your own art.
